We were up early this morning for our first Disney day. We decided to go to Magic Kingdom first and were there as the park opened to make the most of the day.
We started in Tomorrowland on Space Mountain and got in as many rides as we could while the park was quietest. We had a Mickey Mouse pastry for breakfast then carried on with the rides. We watched the parade of characters in the afternoon then, as the weather was looking threatening, went for tea early. We had reserved dinner with Winnie the Pooh and friends, so got to meet Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore while we ate.
A thunderstorm closed some of the rides, so we did as much as we could, then went back to the castle to watch the fireworks show, then the light show after that. These were both spectacular and a great way to end the day.
….And how was Small World? I can still hear the song in my head!
